The working principle of MAQ:
Clean up the recording
When analog sound is converted into a digital signal, time “blurring” occurs, blurring the transient signal over time. As a result, our ears cannot distinguish where a single sound comes from, and recording music is bland compared to “live performance.” MQA can eliminate this distortion and create a truly accurate 3D sound field, which is different from any sound you have ever heard.
Once the blur in the recording is cleared, MQA uses a process we call “music origami” to cleverly make this large high-resolution file easy to manage and compatible with any service or playback device. On ordinary players, MQA plays better than CDs. Using the MQA decoder, it can present a complete and rich studio sound quality.
